Overview
GlitchRealm Games operates as part of a larger digital ecosystem and relies on external platforms and third-party services to deliver core functionality. This document clarifies the relationship between GlitchRealm, external service providers, and you as a user.
This section is intended to provide transparency about GlitchRealm's use of third-party services and to clearly define the boundaries of our responsibilities and liabilities when external platforms are involved.
By using GlitchRealm, you acknowledge that certain features and transactions are facilitated through third-party platforms that operate independently of GlitchRealm Games.

GlitchRealm integrates the following third-party services to provide platform functionality:

Note: Each of these services operates under its own terms of service and privacy policy. GlitchRealm does not control these external providers.
Third-Party Service Providers
GlitchRealm integrates with external service providers to support essential platform operations, including but not limited to:
- Authentication and Identity Management: Services that manage user sign-in, password security, and account verification
- Cloud Hosting and Storage: Platforms that host our website, store user data, and deliver content globally
- Payment Processing: Third-party payment processors that handle financial transactions on our behalf
- Analytics and Monitoring: Tools that help us understand platform usage, performance, and user experience
- Content Delivery Networks: Services that optimize the delivery of games, images, and other media
- Communication Platforms: External platforms used for community engagement, support channels, and announcements
Each third-party provider operates under its own terms of service, privacy policy, and acceptable use guidelines. GlitchRealm does not control these external policies and is not responsible for their content or enforcement.
Independent Terms and Policies
When you interact with third-party services through GlitchRealm, you are simultaneously agreeing to those providers' terms and policies. GlitchRealm's legal agreements do not supersede or replace the terms of external service providers.
It is your responsibility to review and comply with the terms of any third-party service you use in connection with GlitchRealm. We encourage you to familiarize yourself with the policies of providers involved in transactions, data storage, or account management.
Important: GlitchRealm cannot modify, negotiate, or waive the terms of third-party service providers. If you disagree with a provider's terms, you may need to discontinue use of features that depend on that service.
Payment Processing
External Payment Providers
All financial transactions on GlitchRealm, including donations and potential future purchases, are processed through external payment providers. GlitchRealm does not directly handle, store, or process payment card information.
When you make a payment through GlitchRealm:
- Your payment details are submitted directly to the third-party payment processor
- The payment processor validates, authorizes, and settles the transaction according to their procedures
- GlitchRealm receives confirmation of the transaction status but does not access your full payment credentials
Disputes and Chargebacks
Payment disputes, chargebacks, and refund requests are governed by the policies of the payment processor and applicable payment network rules. GlitchRealm will cooperate with legitimate dispute resolution processes but cannot override decisions made by financial institutions or payment providers.
If you initiate a chargeback or payment dispute:
- The payment processor will handle the investigation according to their dispute resolution procedures
- GlitchRealm may suspend or restrict access to services pending resolution of the dispute
- Repeated chargebacks or fraudulent disputes may result in permanent account suspension
Payment Security
GlitchRealm partners with payment processors that implement industry-standard security measures. However, the security of your payment information during transmission and storage is primarily the responsibility of the payment processor.
GlitchRealm is not liable for security breaches, unauthorized transactions, or data compromises that occur within the systems of third-party payment providers.
Service Availability and Continuity
GlitchRealm's functionality depends on the ongoing availability of third-party platforms. We select providers based on reliability and performance, but we cannot guarantee uninterrupted service from external platforms.
Third-Party Outages
If a third-party service experiences downtime, technical issues, or service degradation, GlitchRealm features that depend on that service may be temporarily unavailable or perform poorly. GlitchRealm is not responsible for disruptions caused by external service failures.
Provider Changes
GlitchRealm reserves the right to change, add, or remove third-party service providers as operational needs evolve. We will make reasonable efforts to minimize disruption when transitioning between providers, but cannot guarantee seamless migration in all cases.
If a provider change affects your stored data or account functionality, we will provide advance notice when reasonably possible.
Data Sharing and Privacy
When you use GlitchRealm services, certain personal information may be shared with third-party providers to enable platform functionality. This data sharing is necessary for:
- User authentication and account management
- Processing payments and donations
- Storing and delivering user-generated content
- Analyzing platform usage and performance
The collection, use, and protection of your information by third-party services are governed by their respective privacy policies. GlitchRealm's Privacy Policy describes what information we share and with whom, but we do not control how third-party providers handle your data once received.

External Community Platforms
GlitchRealm may maintain a presence on external social media platforms, forums, or community spaces. When you interact with GlitchRealm through these external platforms:
- Your interactions are subject to the platform's terms of service and community guidelines
- The platform provider, not GlitchRealm, controls content moderation, data collection, and account actions
- GlitchRealm cannot restore access to external accounts or recover content removed by platform providers
Official GlitchRealm representatives will identify themselves appropriately, but GlitchRealm is not responsible for impersonation, scams, or unauthorized accounts on external platforms.
Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law in Alberta, Canada, GlitchRealm Games is not liable for:
- Actions, errors, or omissions by third-party service providers
- Security breaches, data loss, or unauthorized access occurring within third-party systems
- Changes to third-party terms, pricing, or service availability that affect GlitchRealm functionality
- Financial losses resulting from payment processing errors, delays, or disputes handled by external providers
- Service interruptions caused by third-party outages or technical failures
- Content moderation decisions made by external community platforms
This limitation applies regardless of whether GlitchRealm was aware or should have been aware of the possibility of such damages.
User Responsibility
When using third-party services integrated with GlitchRealm, you are responsible for:
- Reviewing and understanding the terms and policies of external service providers
- Maintaining the security of your credentials for third-party accounts
- Ensuring your use of external services complies with applicable laws and regulations
- Resolving disputes or issues directly with third-party providers when appropriate
- Monitoring your payment statements for unauthorized transactions
No Endorsement
The integration of third-party services does not constitute an endorsement, recommendation, or guarantee of those services by GlitchRealm Games. We select providers based on operational requirements, but their inclusion does not imply that we verify, approve, or take responsibility for their business practices, security measures, or legal compliance.
Governing Law
This External Platforms policy is governed by the laws of Alberta, Canada. However, your interactions with third-party service providers may be subject to different governing laws as specified in their terms of service.
In the event of a conflict between this policy and the terms of a third-party provider, the third-party terms govern your use of that specific service.
Updates to This Policy
GlitchRealm may update this External Platforms policy as our service integrations evolve or as required by changes in applicable law. Material changes will be communicated through our website or via email to registered users.
Your continued use of GlitchRealm following policy updates constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.
